River Research

At The River School, we used evidenced-based strategies and applied research to identify and refine best practices that improve outcomes for all children across developmental domains. With inclusion at the forefront, our transdisciplinary team of educators, clinicians and researchers work collaboratively to ensure we consider each child holistically. Our research methodology allows us to not only evaluate and reform our practices, but also translate our findings into clear, practical approaches that can be used in both our classrooms and clinical settings.

Our team shares results nationally and globally through conference presentations, workshops, and publications, contributing to the broader fields of education, speech-language pathology, audiology, psychology, and occupational therapy. It is our goal that our research practices inform our daily decisions, foster collaboration, and help every child thrive.
