Dr. Lori Day and Moss MacLean Presentation
How Do River Students Build Executive Functioning Skills?
Join us in the Library as Dr. Lori Day and Moss MacLean, Gallaudet University professors and psychologists, provide an overview of the executive functioning curriculum we use at River: Unstuck and On Target.
Simply put, executive function refers to skills needed to manage everyday tasks. However, it requires hard work to develop and refine those skills. Dr. Day and Moss will explain why teaching executive functioning is critical to academic success and overall well-being and will share strategies you can use at home to support your child’s growth, self-regulation and adaptability.
