Discover the Magic of The River School
We Are Experts in Childhood Development
We know that first steps matter, and we cherish being a part of a child’s early years, helping them develop a love of learning. Dedicated to children 18 months through Grade 5, we bring energy and innovation to teaching core academics, and foster children’s growth in language, literacy and social skills, creativity and problem solving. Our play-based, thematic curriculum seamlessly integrates Literacy, Math, Social Studies, Science, Drama, Music, Visual Arts, Physical Education, Creative Movement, and Library Sciences.
Our Upper Elementary Program (Grades 4-5) features project-based, inquiry-driven immersive learning experiences. A River graduate can think critically, engage in meaningful inquiry, solve problems and persevere through academic and social challenges, collaborate and communicate effectively, exhibit strong reading, writing and math skills, and be a kind, respectful change agent.
